I ordered this gray epoxy resin floor paint kit for a DIY tabletop makeover project. I have an old, outdated table that I want to transform and give a fresh, modern look, and my plan is to lay down some decorative flower tiles and pour the gray resin around them instead of using traditional grout. Once everything is finished, I’ll add a clear top coat to seal and protect the surface. I haven’t had a chance to start the project yet, but my first impressions are positive so far.The kit arrived well packaged, and it looks like it’s good quaility. I opened up the part A of the resin to see the color, and I really like the glossy gray color so far, hopefully it will look as good after I use it and it cures. The resin has a nice consistency from what I can tell. The instructions are easy to follow, and the resin appears durable enough for a variety of projects, from floors and countertops to creative furniture updates like mine.Since I haven’t used it yet, I can’t comment on the final results, but so far I’m very impressed with the quality and value. I’ll update my review after I complete my project if I think of anything else worth mentioning.

I recently received this epoxy resin floor coating kit, but I am actually using it differently than intended. Instead of coating an entire floor, I used it on several spots on my driveway where the concrete had started to break down and wear away. My goal was to use it more as an epoxy sealer and protective coating for those damaged areas rather than as a complete floor finish. The light gray color is very attractive and blended surprisingly well with the existing color of my driveway, making the repairs less noticeable than I expected. The consistency is quite thick, which helped keep it where I applied it, but it also made proper mixing especially important. The application is not the easiest. It is very thick and you do need to use some effort to spread. Since this is a two part epoxy system, taking the time to stir thoroughly is necessary to ensure the components bond correctly and cure properly. I do feel it created a strong and durable bond once applied. One thing that surprised me was how small the kit actually is. I personally do not see how I could have spread this over much more than the stated 20 square feet, especially if trying to achieve a quality finish. The instructions also recommend two coats for best coverage, but dividing the product into two equal batches was somewhat difficult because there are no measuring cups or measuring tools included. The kit does include a mixing brush, which was helpful. For my small repair project, the amount worked well and it gave me a chance to test the product before deciding whether I want to purchase a much larger quantity for our garage floor in the future. I did find this self-leveled well. I applied this yesterday and today it does feel dry to touch but still a tad tacky. I do feel it will need a few days to completely dry and even longer to fully cure. it does produce a very nice sheen. I did expect this from past experiences with using epoxy flooring systems. While I would not consider this enough material for a larger room, it worked well as a test kit and for smaller repair applications, and I was pleased with the adhesion and finished appearance.
